Coronavirus Update - 7.13.20

Update as of July 13, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. CST

We want to give you an update on the impact of COVID-19 in our community. On Sunday, July 13th, we were notified one of our Plaza residents tested positive for the virus. By way of recap, there are three total active resident cases of COVID-19, all of whom are being cared for in our Plaza.

Additionally, we were notified late Sunday, July 12th, and Monday, July 13th, that three team members tested positive for the virus. While a few team members have recovered, there are a total of five active team member cases of COVID-19, all of whom are self-isolating at home with the support of our Human Resources team.

We understand that you have concerns about COVID-19 and the current situation in our community. Our team continues to be proactive in mitigating the risk of further exposure, and we have implemented heightened infection control measures in the Plaza. Team members are wearing personal protective equipment, including face shields and face masks approved for COVID-19.

Texas is currently experiencing a surge in the number of new COVID-19 infections, and it is important that you protect yourself and other individuals in your community. As a reminder, we encourage everyone to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments, practice social distancing, wear face masks or face coverings, and exercise proper hand hygiene. As we have done throughout the last several weeks, we will regularly communicate updates about our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy community.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact The Stayton management team.
