Coronavirus Update - 6.16.20
Update as of June 16, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. CST
We want to provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 in our community. We learned Monday, June 15, that one Plaza resident tested positive for the virus and is being cared for in the hospital.
In addition, we have one remaining active case of COVID-19 among our team members. This team member continues to self-isolate at home with the support of our Human Resources team.
We understand that you have concerns about COVID-19 and the current situation in our community, and many of you have questions. Please know we continue in our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our residents and team members. Our team continues to be proactive in mitigating the risk of further exposure to the virus within our community.
As a reminder, Lifespace and The Stayton are continuing to follow heightened infection control guidelines. We encourage everyone to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments, practice social distancing, and exercise proper hand hygiene. As we have done throughout the last several weeks, we will regularly communicate updates about our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy community.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact The Stayton management team.
The Texas Department of Health and Human Services offers additional information about COVID-19 in our state.
